Have your say on bus travel in Rutland

Following the launch of the government’s newly published national bus strategy (Bus Back Better) we are now drafting a bus service improvement plan (BSIP) for Rutland, in collaboration with the county’s bus operators. The main aims of the strategy are to improve public transport and to increase both usage and satisfaction.

Government has pledged £3 billion in funding to allocate nationally to deliver BSIPs and Rutland is hoping to secure enough of this funding to deliver improvements in the county.

To enable our bid for funding and our BSIP to achieve maximum results, we are keen to hear from people who already use buses and those who don’t but would like to in the future. We would also like to hear from public, private and voluntary organisations who have any interest in improved bus services in the county.

This survey is available from 23 August 2021 to 26 September 2021
